Niloo Farahzadeh
I reached out to Niloo after seeing her perform at an event at The Belfry in Victoria, BC. ‘Her musical project pays homage to her ancestry and personal history as an Iranian-Canadian woman; sonically hybridizing western dreampop, psych and shoegaze with 60’s and 70’s Iranian pop to create a fuzzy, nostalgic fabric of sound.’ I was captivated by that sound and by her exquisite voice, and knew that I wanted to share her story and her art with the world.
