Ana Isméria P. Velludo
With a postgraduate degree in Finance, Ana Isméria once spent her days surrounded by numbers. Over time, however, her travels began to awaken a different sensibility. Encounters with striking landscapes, museum collections, and diverse cultures gradually rekindled her artistic instinct. Creativity also runs in the family: her mother is Maysa Pettes, an artist also represented by StorytellART.
Ana eventually left the corporate world to study Photography, redirecting her analytical eye toward visual storytelling. Her work draws on memories from her many journeys, translating them into innovative themes and unconventional formats. For Ana, personal identity is deeply tied to memory, and by framing meaningful moments she hopes to share the positive energy they carry with others.
ARTIST STATEMENT
“Involuntary. I decide only under the influence of small points of varied colors. Water, cement, and aggregates appear in my work as a rhythmic and formal unity. Bodies that allow other forms to pass through them. A continuous observation of possibilities. Art, always!”
